NFL SEASON OPENER 2012-2013 SEASON

Because of their Super Bowl Championship, the New York Giants will kick the season off with the very first game of the season. Uniquely, instead of starting on the newly traditional "Thursday" the game will be played on a "Wednesday". (Sept. 5th) This date has been altered to avoid coming in conflict with President Obama's Democration National Convention Speech that will be on that Thursday (Sept. 6th). Their opponent has not been scheduled yet.

           JR SMITH IS FINED BY CHINESE TEAM


                                    Newly acquired Knick, JR Smith, is having a tough transition from playing professionally overseas and returning BACK to the NBA. Smith signed a 2.5 million dollar contract to add talent to New Yorks backcourt, being the electrifying player that he is, he had a good debut game. Because of the NBA Lockout, Smith signed a contract with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). . Evidently Smith is currently being fine 1.06 million dollars for missing practices, mostly during the preseason. It was to be expected that he would receive this fine because it stated in his contract that he would receive a deduction of salary for missing practices. Reportedly Smith was being accused of faking injuries, abusing team regulations, and infamously pulling an "ALLEN IVERSON"...................Come on man......."WE TALKIN 'BOUT PRACTICE!"   ............... "PRACTICE?" ........."TALKIN BOUT PRACTICE MAN"

Kobe Bryant opened his mouth a little too early, letting his EGO get ahead of him. If I can remember correctly, and if the rest of the world can recall.......Jeremy Lin dropped 38 against the Black Mamba and the Lakers winning 92-85. Jeremy Lin is the NBA's Tim Tebow.

Keystone Lady Panthers fall to Lady Berries

        It was to be expected that the overwhelming pressure of having an undefeated season would have an effect on an outcome of a game sooner or later. Unfortunately the Lady Panthers suffered their first loss over the weekend in a very intense game, 57-53 being the score. If they were going to want to lose a game this late in the season, this would be the one too lose because from here on out its playoffs which means "Win or Go Home". I dont mean that in a bad way because who wants to win a conference championship game? They need to turn a negative into a positive because the the District 9 Title Championship is what they have been playing all season for. They just need to work on their turnovers and make a few roster adjustments and they should be a championship contender. Great back and forth game scoring wise.

On February 17th at Clarion Area High School at 6pm, the undefeated Keystone Lady Panthers (22-0)  are competing against the Cranberry Lady Berries (21-1). The Lady Panthers handed the  Lady Berries  there only loss on the season on December 21st, 2011 with a come from behind win, 52-46.This is an opportunity for other teams in the conference and people of the community to see the top two teams in the KSAC to compete for the championship before the District 9 playoffs. It should be a great game so come out and support a team. The boys KSAC Championship will be held on the 18th (Saturday). GO PANTHERS!!  

My career interest is in Sport Agency. My love for sports has grew to a whole new level as I get older and I am starting to appreciate my passion for sport more and more everyday. Since I am unable to play professionally I feel a career that is surrounded on a daily basis by professional sport would be that of Sport Agency.
